One of my favourite fashion trends featured in the recent catwalks for the new autumn season was bold florals. Although traditionally, a print reserved for warmer weather months such as spring there seemed to be bold florals popping up everywhere on the catwalk with the main difference I noticed being that the florals prints were much darker and bolder than their spring predecessors.
Personally, I think bold floral prints are absolutely the perfect match for autumn given their ability to break up an otherwise head to toe black and white look as well as their statement making capabilities. Plus as an added bonus, if you are planning an overseas trip to escape the cooler weather you may even be able to make use of that autumn floral dress or skirt when you travel.
Look One – Bold Florals
To make a statement with bold florals for Autumn, pair the Auguste Beach House Wrap Skirt with a Crew Neck White T-shirt, Black Leather Jacket and a pair of block heels.
This look could easily be made more summery by removing the jacket and adding a white camisole instead of the tee and sandals or slides instead of heels.
Autumn Trend 2 – Red
My second favourite of the fashion trends that found its way onto the catwalks this autumn is the colour red. From statement dresses and tops to skirts, this colour is another great way to be on trend this autumn.
Look Two – Red Mini DressPair the Stevie Play Dress with a pair of Black Knee High Boots such as those pictured from Tony Bianco and all black accessories.
As the weather gets cooler, layer this mini dress style with a knit or leather jacket for a little more warmth.
