Personally, I love Australia Day as to me it is a chance to celebrate all things good about the Australian summer like fruity cocktails, barbecues, laughter with friends and family, sunshine, beach days and gorgeous summer time outfits. This Australia Day and inspired by my seaside home I have put together three summer outfit ideas that I love and that I hope will inspire you to celebrate in style this Australia Day.

On a moody Saturday in October (unfortunately we weren’t quite lucky enough to score a sun-filled day) we hit the road and headed down to the magical Fingal Heads with our latest girl crush, Lexi Daniels, photographer Srinivasa, hair and make-up artist Sarah Fewtrell and a few of our favourites from Sunkissed.
The first to release their collection for Spring, Amuse Society’s Spring 17 collection is inspired by the ocean and holiday vibes. In our edit you will see a selection of dreamy whites across both dresses and tops as well as an injection of leopard. The Desert Sunrise Shorts are certainly a winner for those easy days spent by the sea.
One of the top trends that was featured in the autumn winter catwalks both here and overseas was the notion of florals for winter. Although florals, are often considered by most to be a more summer time print they made their way onto the catwalk in both darker hues as well as softer pastels such as blush.
Wrap mini skirts are fast becoming a popular style in the fashion world and for good reason, they are super versatile and a lot more fashion forward than your simple pencil skirts. Plus as some styles are simply tied around the waist to fit, they can be a lot easier to buy online than your average zipper skirt.
