Every February, cupids bow strikes and on the 14th of the month we celebrate Valentine’s Day and that special someone in our life. Whether or not you have a special someone in your life, its hard not to get caught up in the commotion around the day of love and all the gift giving that goes on.
As inspiration for what to wear on Valentine’s Day, we have put together a few outfit ideas for you.
To us, the model featured in Skye and staghorn’s latest campaign (Taken by the Tide), Matilda Andersson is the total epitome of what the Sunkissed girl looks like; glowing and radiant, effortlessly beautiful and cute as a button. We love that she has been featured in Skye and stahorn’s latest campaign and that she appears as warm and genuine on the inside as she is on the outside (you can check out her Instagram here).
If you live in Australia then you will know that each year on the 26th January, most of us are given the day off to celebrate all things Australian. This could mean celebrating with a picnic in the park with friends, or a day by the sea getting sunkissed and salty or perhaps something a little more formal like a long lunch at a favourite restaurant or simply a day of rest and relaxation (insert…hammock and favourite book).
The perfect Australia Day for us usually means rising early for a morning swim in the sea followed by a coffee and yummy breakfast and then a picnic with friends by the sea or a long lunch with friends at one of our favourite local hang-outs.
When I created Sunkissed the Collective, I knew I wanted to create a company that was warm and bubbly and that reflected the values that I believe in… treating people with genuine love, kindness and compassion.
Something that has also always been close to my heart is supporting other women and is part of the reason I decided to take on the role of ambassador at League of Extraordinary Women here on the Gold Coast where Sunkissed is based.
